First, thank you so much for agreeing to help me with the research for my book. To help you get the most out of our time together, there's some actions you can take that will really accelerate things.
Please set aside some time for going through each of these steps. There's a very simple reason why you might want to do that. In my email I said I'd find you $10k. The more of these steps you complete in advance, the more we'll find. So time really does equal money!
Equally important, though, some of these exercises will get you to think about your business and your marketing in a completely different way. In a way that is designed to help you get more clients (and therefore help more people), make more money (and therefore help yourself), and have more fun (and who couldn't use a little more fun in their life!).
So please go through this page carefully.
Step one: Watch this video
This is one of the most important videos you'll watch this year.
It's not short, but it is important. In fact, it would be the most productive and beneficial 71 minutes you will ever invest in building your business.
It's going to teach you that everything you've ever been told about generating leads for your business is wrong. Are you tired of your phone not ringing? Are you tired of spending money on marketing that gets no results? Watch this video and you'll understand why that's happening. You'll also understand that good marketing doesn't necessarily have to cost a lot of money, and marketing that costs a lot of money usually isn't very good!N.B. Step Two: Tell me about your business

I need to know as much as possible about your business before we start.
I'll be brutally honey with you. This audit document takes 2-3 hours to complete if you do it properly. Here's the thing though. Every business owner who I have asked to complete this has told me the same thing once they finished. They all said that the exercise was eye opening for them. As one client put it "I learned more about my business filling this stupid thing out," (yep, that's what they called it!) "than I have in five years of running it! This made me go into the granular part of my business. This really forced me to start thinking about it in a completely different way."
I promise you, this will be the most productive hours you put into your business this year. It will provide me with everything I need to know about your business, so if you do it I'll reward your effort by making you the following additional promise.
If you send this back to me at least 2 days before we meet, I will set aside about double the number of hours you spend completing it, and I will go through the information thoroughly and in detail.
This will help me to uncover several additional sources of revenue for you, and instead of just $10k in 45 minutes, I should be able to find 3 to 5 times that amount for you. Would that make it worth your while to spend a couple of hours completing this?

N.B. if your business is till quite small/just starting up, then a lot of the questions won't be relevant. Don't worry about it - just think how you could start getting ready for those things as the business grows.
