Back in the early summer I ran a session for my mastermind students on using social media strategically in your marketing. If you haven't seen my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/6figureblueprint, check it out. Here's why…

First of all, notice that it invites you to "like" the page in order to get a copy of my book and other free resources. This helps me get the brand out there by encouraging people to click "like" (ask your web master about "like reveal" or drop me an email)

Second, notice that the graphics are more than just a scanned holiday snap cropped to only show my head. There's a lot of information in the graphics, just as there would be on a web site.

Third, notice that the first page users are taken to when they click like gives lots of value. There's the book, and a series of videos of interest to my audience

Fourth, notice that the videos are numbered, but aren't sequential. This is my way of letting you know that there are a lot more videos out there!

So there you have it:

  • a call to action
  • a quarter pounder
  • lots of value and the promise of more
  • and an in-built way to stay in touch with people after they "like" the page

All in one Facebook page.

That's how to take Facebook out of the realms of  "I just left Starbucks. Heading to the video store" and "join my Mafia family" and take it into the sphere of business
