Quick Growth Tip #4: Have a Unique Promise of Value (UPV)

There are a LOT of other coaches, consultants and trainers out there. Your Unique Promise of Value (UPV) should be the core theme of your marketing. It answers the question "why should *I* (your prospective client) do business with *YOU* rather than the 9,999,999 other coaches, consultants and trainers I can find using a search engine? What can you do for me that no-one else can do?"

Why do people buy Domino's Pizza? Because of their promise of "fresh, hot pizza delivered to your door in 30 minutes or less, guaranteed."

So what promise can you make to your clients about the results you'll achieve for them? Will you guarantee them a promotion or payrise at work? Their dream job? Or to find the love of their life? Or to conquer their greatest fear?

Or perhaps there's something unique about the way you work? I know coaches who take their clients horse whispering to teach them how to relate and communicate to others. There are coaches who take their clients away to retreats out in the country, or OUT of the country. Others use high ropes work to master confidence. I've even seen a coach work without words! SO what is special about your way of working, what is there beyond the models and certifications you currently advertise?

Of course, a UPV is far more powerful when combined with a strong niche, but that's a matter for another time!
