Some just feel that selling is beneath them. That professionals shouldn’t need to sell, because their qualifications are all the proof they need that clients should work with them.
Others mistakenly believe that because a client needs their services, it follows that they will want those services.
Some are afraid of appearing too “pushy”, “salesy” or “needy”.

You see, I wasn’t always great at selling. In fact, as a child I couldn’t even bring myself to ask neighbours to pay me to cut their grass.

When I set up my business in 2002 I very quickly realised that if I was going to stay in business, I was going to have to learn to sell.

I didn’t realise the one fundamental truth of being in business.

Selling is about getting them to want it from you, now.
